JANE PICKERING “This is my happy place with all our family at our cottage in the Gatineaus north of Ottawa, where Dick and I grew up. Every summer was spent here; and it is where we all meet to spend time together to this day.
One daughter and family are in Toronto, and our other daughter and family lives nearby in Beaconsfield. The cottage is where we spend extended time together, all year round. April 2025

Sr Trudy passes away December 2 2024.
November 2024: “Sending sad news, l will not be able to attend our 60th. But I send all my best to all my classmates and wish them well and all the families. I got word October 29th from Princess Margaret hospital I have an aggressive cancer and have a few months to live. Keep me in your loving prayers. I’m in palliative care at St. Joseph’s Private Hospital at 2 O’Connor Drive, Toronto.”
I’m getting older every day, I celebrated my 70th anniversary of being a Sister of Saint Joseph June 9, 2024, and I will be celebrating my 90th birthday on January 6, 2025!
Hello to all classmates, we are sure doing well. It’s wonderful to keep in touch but I find technology is a horrible burden and I have my technologist sitting next to me helping me out so I’m glad to be able to say hello. Blessings be upon each and everyone of you I’m getting older but I’m also getting bolder, blessings be with each one of you.

The group picture was taken the day before. Our three offspring and their loved ones are as follows: Cherolyn is married to Marshal. They live in Victoria.
Our middle one is Melanie who lives in Owen Sound. Our youngest is Peter. He and his wife Laurs live in Victoria and have three kids. Ollie is 18 and just started at UBC. It is hard to see him. His is almost hidden at the back, right side. Kyle and Russell are 16 in grade 11. The other couple is my sister Frances and her husband Claude. Frances was well then. That was Aug 18th. She went into hospital Sept 3rd I believe.

Mary Jameson Brian and I are keeping well, having my 80th. birthday party on the 10th. my birthday is tomorrow the 8th. I think this is a good idea, a 60th. reunion may be too much for some people to attend. White Oaks in St. Catharines was perfect for me.
